But real behavior change starts when we also notice what they’re doing right.The behaviors that are acknowledged and reinforced are the ones most likely to increase. Instead of waiting for perfect behavior, start by catching the small wins. Maybe they stayed seated while you finished talking. Maybe they followed one direction or started a task without being reminded. Those moments are worth reinforcing!You don’t have to ignore challenging behavior.
